Reliability, technology and comfort are X-lite® present in this full-face helmet with composite fiber shell, prepared for the N-Com® X-Series communication system. X-602 represents the evolution in terms of technical, qualitative and design content of its predecessor X-601 and preserves the characteristics that distinguish the range of X-lite® products, while placing itself in a very competitive price range.
01 - TRIPLE SHELL
The use of three different sizes for the outer shell (XXS / S, M / L, XL / XXL) guarantees levels of comfort particularly appreciated by the final consumer: the weight and volume of the helmet (and, consequently, its aerodynamic resistance) are always contained and proportionate to the size of the rider.
02 - VISOR AND ROTATION MECHANISMS
Injection molded in Lexan® OQ from SABIC Innovative Plastics (formerly General Electric Plastics), the visor is scratch-resistant and features a curved outer surface. It is also equipped as standard for the application of the Nolan Fog Resistant system, the internal visor resistant to fogging.
The side mechanisms, light and reliable, allow the functions of rotation in opening and closing of the visor, with intermediate positions, quick release without the use of tools and adjustment of the draft (4 mm) between visor and porthole gasket. The DOUBLE ACTION device enables the following two functions:
-demisting of the visor, at low speed or in case of stop, by means of a minimum opening of the same;
-visor lock, to prevent accidental opening, especially at high speeds.
03 - VENTILATION
The innovative ventilation system, the result of months of road and laboratory tests, consists of:
-upper ventilation. Two air intakes, with separate activation, convey the air directly inside the helmet, through a diffuse ducting that allows internal ventilation, preventing annoying localized cooling;
-lower ventilation. The lower air intake, which can be activated by pressing a central pressure button, allows air to enter directly inside the helmet, ensuring a constant exchange of air in front of the rider's mouth. Part of the air is also conveyed to the inner surface of the visor, thus limiting fogging and condensation;
-rear extraction system. It ensures the constant exchange of air inside the helmet, making it possible to drain hot and stale air and guaranteeing, consequently, an ideal temperature for the rider.
04 - REMOVABLE COMFORT PADDING
X-602 offers exceptional comfort, the result of the specific know-how acquired by the company's technicians and refined through numerous dynamic tests of use. The interior, completely removable and washable, is made with a new generation microfiber fabric of excellent quality that ensures active control of breathability, guaranteeing the rider high comfort. In addition, the antibacterial treatment guarantees superior hygiene and freshness, preventing the formation of unpleasant odors for a long time.
