Our products if left plugged in continuously or at least maintained on a monthly basis for the battery (fully recharged), are able to increase the life of the battery up to 4 times. On average, a battery has an expected life span of 2 years; with bc battery controller battery chargers and maintainers, it is possible to get batteries that have a surge and life span of up to 8 to 10 years. BC 9000 EVO+ - DETAILED CHARACTERISTICS
BC 9000 EVO+ is a battery charger and charge maintainer which, thanks to its 3 selectable programs (CAR, BIKE and START&STOP), is designed for perfect and complete maintenance of all conventional12 V batteries (lead-acid & AGM) from 1,2 Ah up to 200 Ah.
For the CAR and START&STOP charging programs, the device delivers a maximum current of 9 Amp, while in the BIKE program (for motorcycles) the current delivered is 1 Amp.
The bc battery controller products recharge the battery much faster than conventional battery chargers .

The BC 9000 EVO+ model acts as a battery and alternator tester, can restore sulfated batteries, recover batteries from 1,25V (lowest level on the market) and is also designed for use on vehicles equipped with "micro-hybrid" start/stop systems.
Thanks to its spark-proof (anti-spark) system and its protections against overloads, polarity reversals and short circuits .BC 9000 EVO+ ensures a high level of protection has been tested on all makes of cars guaranteeing absolute compatibility with the electronic system of every car .
Also equipped inside with a state-of-the-art microprocessor the product is able to ensure extreme efficiency in battery charging and minimize power consumption.

CHARGEALGORITHM - CHARGE PROGRAM
The charger is equipped by an internal microprocessor that checks the battery status in real time and performs 8 charging cycles autonomously.
- Step 1 - Initialization: verifies that the battery is in optimal condition to be charged/recovered by ensuring that there are no short circuits between one or more battery cells.
- Phase 2 - Recovery: if the battery is in an extreme discharged condition (as low as 1,25V), the device tries to perform a recovery in order to bring it to higher voltages, compatible with the next phase.
- Phase 3 - Light Charge: If the battery is very low, the device provides a pulsed light current to allow the battery to pass the critical phase.
- Stage 4 - Main Charge: during this stage, the battery can recover up to 85-90% of its capacity, thanks to the charger's ability to deliver full current.
- Stage 5 - Desulfation/Absorption: during this stage in order to restore the remaining 10-15% of the battery capacity, the device provides a "controlled overcharge" by desulfation/recovery of the lead-acid cells (for mild to medium levels of sulfation).
- Step 6 - Battery Analysis: the device interrupts the current supply for a few tens of minutes and verifies that the battery is able to retain the charge it received during previous cycles.
This step is repeated periodically at regular intervals.
- Stage 7 - Maintenance: thanks to a specially designed electronic circuit, the device maintains the battery charge during periods of non-use, without overheating, overcharging and water/electrolyte leakage.
- Stage 8 - Equalization: this stage is carried out every 30 days in order to rebalance the battery cells, thus avoiding electrolyte stratification phenomena.

- Three selectable charging programs: "CAR MODE" for car batteries, "START&STOP" for batteries installed in vehicles with start&stop system and "BIKE MODE" for motorcycle batteries.
- Backlit LCD display for perfect night vision (even in the distance), indicating: the active charging program (CAR or BIKE or START&STOP), the charging cycle being performed (Charging, Desulfation, Maintenance...), the battery voltage (internal digital voltmeter) and any malfunction (pole reversal, short circuit, battery not connected...).
- Multi-language software: the user can set the display language between Italian, French, English, German, Spanish or Portuguese.
- Real-time monitoring dei battery parameters during all charge cycles.
- Battery overcharge protection: activates when the internal microprocessor detects a voltage higher than a preset value; no risk of bubble formation for all batteries on the market (including MF and Gel).
- Tester function: the device will perform the following tests independently and in the sequence below :
1 . Battery idle voltage test (including estimation of its charge level);
2. Battery inrush test when starting the vehicle;
3. Vehicle charging system test (alternator/regulator).
