Guardian Bell

The legend of the Guardian Bell ®

Many years ago, on a cold December night, a gruff old biker was returning from a trip to Mexico with his saddlebag full of toys and other assorted trinkets for the children of his city.

About 40 miles north of the border, in the desert, there was a small group of creatures, the "Evil Spirits Road", evil spirits that live on our bike. They love to be transported but enjoy littering the road surface with small obstacles such as, shoes, wooden boards and pieces of old tires to undermine the safety dei motorcyclists and are also responsible for most dei small mechanical problems of the bike....

When the "Evil Spirits Road" heard the roar of the biker's Harley approaching, they lurked behind a curve and ambushed him, causing him to fall on the asphalt. While the mtocyclist lay there, unable to move, he saw the strange spirits approaching. He then began to throw the toys out of the broken bag at the creatures. Finally, having nothing else to hit them, he took the small bell that had remained on the ground and began to ring it in the hope of scaring them.

Half a mile away, camped in the desert, were two bikers sitting around the campfire talking about their day. In the stillness of the night sky they heard the sound of what seemed to them a church bell. Rushing to that call, they found the old biker lying along the side of the road with the Evil Spirits Road ready to jump on the bike. United by the brotherhood between bikers, the two men managed to make the gremlins escape and save the old motorcyclist.

Grateful for the help, the old man offered them a reward but they refused. Not wanting to let that good deed go unnoticed, the old man cut two pieces of skin from his saddlebag and tied a bell, as close as possible to the ground, on each of the bikes dei his new friends. With those bells, he told them, they would be protected from the evil snitches of the road.
