| With black or white molded shell and transparent paint The XPLUS best expresses the concept of a hybrid helmet designed for mixed use (urban/extra-urban). The XPLUS is technically different from any other helmet on the market today and encompasses the lightness and comfort of a jet helmet and the guaranteed protection offered by a full-face helmet... but it does not belong to the open-face segment as it is understood today. In the XPLUS, not the chin guard is raised but rather the entire visor and with it the face protection system. The R&D department of GIVI has been able to design a brand new Group-Visor with innovative integrated DSA (Dynamic-Shock-Absorption) System, which while functioning as a normal screen has such shock-absorbing characteristics as to earn approval as a full-face. The system is very sophisticated but not for the user, who will be able to easily control the opening/closing movement of the protective screen with one hand.
